UK’s first Mobility as a Service (MaaS) conference

Transport Systems Catapult is delighted to announce that it is hosting the UK’s first Mobility as a Service (MaaS) one day conference on Wednesday 21st September.

Taking place at the iCentrum Innovation Building in Birmingham (UK), this free event will bring together thought-leaders from technology as well as the policy and business sectors who want to discuss the latest developments in the growth of MaaS in the UK and abroad.

We have an exciting line-up of expert speakers who are breaking new ground in this sector, to share their insights as to how the marketplace for MaaS is developing, and how transport operators, policy makers, technologists and consumers can benefit from the MaaS opportunity. To attend, register for free at

The TSC has recently issued a new report ‘Exploring the Opportunity for Mobility as a Service in the UK’. This report seeks to set out what MaaS is, how it can help us travel, and what the future could look like once it becomes mainstream.  Are we looking at a smart seamless multimodal future? Or are we looking at a future where car based transport will prevail.  In both futures, the current shape of public transport may change dramatically, to download this report visit

For those that can’t make this conference and are heading to the ITS World Congress later in the year, then look out for the TSC’s Chief Strategy Officer Andrew Everett, who is speaking in the MaaS session on the morning of Friday 14th October.

To continue the ITS Conversation post the 2016 World Congress, then the Midlands Intelligent Mobility conference is the event to attend. This free two day conference takes place end of November at Loughborough University. For more details and to register visit:
